Terms of Service

Last updated: July 31, 2026

These terms govern your use of Uptimepin. By using the service, you agree to these terms.

Use of Service

Uptimepin is a retrospective uptime checker. You add URLs to monitor, and we check them on a schedule and display the results. You may use the Free plan without any payment. The Free plan is limited to 5 URLs, 7-day rolling history, and checks every 15 minutes.

You agree not to use Uptimepin to monitor URLs you do not have permission to check, or to use the service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair our infrastructure.

Billing

Current status

No payment processor is currently connected to Uptimepin. The Pro plan checkout on the pricing page is a demonstration only — no real payment is taken, no subscription is created, and no billing information is stored. The Free plan is fully functional today.

Pro plan (when available)

When the Pro plan is launched, the following terms will apply:

Failed payments

If a monthly charge fails (card declined, expired, insufficient funds), we will retry the charge automatically on days 1, 3, and 7 after the failed attempt. If all three retries fail, your Pro access will be suspended and you will revert to the Free plan limits. Your check history will be retained for 30 days from suspension, so you can resubscribe and recover it. After 30 days, the history associated with the Pro subscription will be deleted.

Refund policy

All Pro plan charges are final. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. If you cancel mid-cycle, you retain access to Pro features until the end of the current billing period. This policy is necessary because the service incurs infrastructure costs on your behalf regardless of usage.

No uptime guarantee

Uptimepin checks your URLs and reports what it finds. We do not guarantee that the service itself will be available at all times, nor that every check will complete. We make reasonable efforts to keep the service operational, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

No alerts

Uptimepin is a retrospective tool, not a real-time alerting system. It does not send email, SMS, push notifications, or any other form of alert. The dashboard shows you what happened when you open it. This is a deliberate design choice, not a missing feature. Alerts and notifications are a planned future feature, not yet available.

Limitation of liability

Uptimepin is provided "as is" without any warranty, express or implied. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption. In no event shall our liability exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we do, the "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the revision. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
